He was educated at Repton School, Repton, Derbyshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Royal Air Force College, Cranwell, Lincolnshire, EnglandG.1 He was Fighter Pilot and Flying Instructor.1 He was Air Attaché to the British Embassy, The Hague between 1976 and 1978.1 He was Air Commander of the Hong Kong between 1981 and 1983.1 He lived in 2003 at Cumberhill House, Duffield, Belper, Derbyshire, EnglandG.1
