     From 11 June 1884, her married name became Hill.

     Rowley John Hill was born on 1 September 1806.1 He was the son of Reverend John Beresford Hill and Laetitia McCausland.2 He married Caroline Catherine Sale, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir Robert Sale, on 2 January 1835.1 He died on 12 November 1850 at age 44.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Bengal Irregular Cavalry.1
