     Captain Thomas Job Syer Hanmer was born on 5 July 1781 at Holbrook Hall, Little Waldingfield, Suffolk, England.¹ He was the son of Job Hanmer and Maria Syer.² He married, firstly, Harriet Dawson, daughter of Thomas Dawson and Ann Manning, on 13 May 1823 at St. Marylebone, London, England.¹ He married, secondly, Charlotte Sophia Blagrave, daughter of John Blagrave, in 1835.¹ He died on 18 August 1842 at age 61 at Little Waldingfield, Suffolk, England.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.¹

     Frideswide Ahmuty was born on 31 July 1785 at Bath, Somerset, England.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Ahmuty and Alice Moore.¹ She married Robert Smyth, son of William Smyth and Maria Synnott, on 27 November 1807 at St. Georges, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.¹
     From 27 November 1807, her married name became Smyth.¹

     Harriet Dawson was born in 1785 at Edwardstone Hall, Edwardstone, Suffolk, England.² She was the daughter of Thomas Dawson and Ann Manning.^3,2 She married Captain Thomas Job Syer Hanmer, son of Job Hanmer and Maria Syer, on 13 May 1823 at St. Marylebone, London, England.¹ She died on 10 October 1831 at Holbrook Hall, Holbrook, Suffolk, England.¹
     From 13 May 1823, her married name became Hanmer.

     Harriet Anne Hanmer was born on 8 January 1826 at Holbrook Hall, Little Waldingfield, Suffolk, England.² She was the daughter of Captain Thomas Job Syer Hanmer and Harriet Dawson.³ She married Henry Leslie on 30 August 1849 at Harrold, Bedfordshire, England.¹ She died on 7 February 1887 at age 61 at 2 Brunswick Terrace, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹
     From 30 August 1849, her married name became Leslie.

     Henry Leslie was born circa 1800 at Leslie Hill, County Antrim, Ireland.² He married Harriet Anne Hanmer, daughter of Captain Thomas Job Syer Hanmer and Harriet Dawson, on 30 August 1849 at Harrold, Bedfordshire, England.¹ He died on 7 July 1864 at Seaport Lodge, Porballintrae, County Antrim, Ireland.²

     Caroline Augusta Hanmer was born circa 1827 at Holbrook Hall, Little Waldingfield, Suffolk, England.² She was the daughter of Captain Thomas Job Syer Hanmer and Harriet Dawson.³ She married James Mitchell on 4 June 1863 at Braintree, Essex, England.¹ She died on 14 March 1913 at Hedingham Castle, Castle Hedingham, Essex, England.¹
     From 4 June 1863, her married name became Mitchell.

     James Mitchell was born at sea on 16 July 1809.² He married Caroline Augusta Hanmer, daughter of Captain Thomas Job Syer Hanmer and Harriet Dawson, on 4 June 1863 at Braintree, Essex, England.¹ He died on 21 June 1895 at age 85 at Holbrook Hall, Little Waldingfield, Suffolk, England.²
