Sir Walter Johnstone Halsey, 2nd Bt. and Agnes Marion Macalpine-Leny.2 He married Barbara Dorothea Orr Ewing, daughter of Charles Lindsay Orr Ewing and Lady Augusta Helen Elizabeth Boyle, on 16 May 1931.2 He died in 1986.2
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.2

     From 16 May 1931, her married name became Halsey. She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Somerset in 1947.1
