     Elizabeth Jane Hall was the daughter of Captain Basil Hall and Margaret Hunter.2 She married Rear-Admiral William Charles Chamberlain, son of Sir Henry Chamberlain, 1st Bt. and Anne Eugenia Morgan, on 19 June 1845.3 She died on 29 August 1856.3
     From 19 June 1845, her married name became Chamberlain.1

     Rear-Admiral William Charles Chamberlain was born on 21 April 1818.2,3 He was the son of Sir Henry Chamberlain, 1st Bt. and Anne Eugenia Morgan.2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Jane Hall, daughter of Captain Basil Hall and Margaret Hunter, on 19 June 1845.1 He married, secondly, Sarah Morgan Holroyd, daughter of Thomas Holroyd, on 29 October 1872.4 He died on 27 February 1878 at age 59.1
     He was Admiral Superintendent at Devonport Dockyard.3
