     Reverend Alexander Titley Hall was the son of Bernard Hall and Mary Ann Titley.² He died on 25 May 1929.¹
     He graduated from Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was the Vicar between 1892 and 1913 at Appleby, Lincolnshire, England^G.¹

     William Calrow held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He lived at Walton Lodge, Walton-le-Dale, Lancashire, England^G.¹

     Margaret Calrow was the daughter of William Calrow.² She married Bernard Hall, son of John Hall and Mary Titley, in 1860.¹ She died on 14 March 1902.¹
     From 1860, her married name became Hall.

     Sir Douglas Bernard Hall, 1st Bt. was born on 24 December 1866.¹ He was the son of Bernard Hall and Margaret Calrow.² He married Caroline Montgomery, daughter of Thomas James Montgomery, on 16 October 1890.¹ He died on 30 June 1923 at age 56.¹
     He held the office of High Sheriff of Sussex in 1907.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for the Isle of Wight between 1910 and 1922.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for (Sussex.)¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy Reserve.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Engineers.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Hall, of Burton Park, Sussex [U.K.] on 18 September 1919.¹

     Thomas James Montgomery lived at Larchmont Manor, New York, U.S.A.^G.¹

     Caroline Montgomery was the daughter of Thomas James Montgomery.² She married Sir Douglas Bernard Hall, 1st Bt., son of Bernard Hall and Margaret Calrow, on 16 October 1890.¹ She died on 12 March 1941.¹
     From 16 October 1890, her married name became Hall.

     Sir Douglas Montgomery Bernard Hall, 2nd Bt. was born on 30 December 1891.¹ He was the son of Sir Douglas Bernard Hall, 1st Bt. and Caroline Montgomery.² He married, firstly, Mary Grant, daughter of Captain William Alexander Grant, on 17 July 1915.¹ He and Mary Grant were divorced in 1923.¹ He married, secondly, Nancie Walton Mellor, daughter of Colonel John Edward Mellor, on 20 May 1925.¹ He and Nancie Walton Mellor were divorced in 1950.¹ He married, thirdly, Hon. Diana Joan Sackville-West, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Charles John Sackville-West, 4th Baron Sackville of Knole and Maude Cecelia Bell, on 13 January 1951.¹ He died on 30 August 1962 at age 70.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded twice and was mentioned in despatches three tiems.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Hall, of Burton Park, Sussex [U.K., 1919] on 30 June 1923.¹ He was Lieutenant-Colonel of the 4th Battalion, North Staffordshire Regiment.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Coldstream Guards.¹ He was King’s Messenger between 1945 and 1947.¹ He was King’s Messenger between 1949 and 1951.¹

     Captain William Alexander Grant gained the rank of Captain in the 13th Hussars.¹

     Mary Grant is the daughter of Captain William Alexander Grant.² She married Sir Douglas Montgomery Bernard Hall, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Douglas Bernard Hall, 1st Bt. and Caroline Montgomery, on 17 July 1915.¹ She and Sir Douglas Montgomery Bernard Hall, 2nd Bt. were divorced in 1923.¹
     From 17 July 1915, her married name became Hall.

     Pamela Mary Hall was born on 6 June 1916.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Douglas Montgomery Bernard Hall, 2nd Bt. and Mary Grant.² She married, firstly, Richard Haliburton Bentley, son of H H Bentley, on 26 June 1936.¹ She and Richard Haliburton Bentley were divorced in 1944.¹ She married, secondly, Ivan Lord Buchanan in 1944.¹ She and Ivan Lord Buchanan were divorced in 1948.¹ She married, thirdly, Norman Percy Hackforth, son of Percy Hackforth, on 14 February 1949.¹ She died on 6 October 1995 at age 79.¹
     From 26 June 1936, her married name became Bentley. From 1944, her married name became Buchanan.¹ From 14 February 1949, her married name became Hackforth.¹
