     Eliza Spiers was the daughter of Alexander Spiers, 3rd of Elderslie and Eliza Stewart Hagart of Bantaskine.^2,1 She married Sir Claud Alexander of Ballochmyle, 1st Bt., son of Boyd Alexander and Sophia Elizabeth Hobhouse, on 12 February 1863.¹ She died on 16 July 1927.¹
     From 12 February 1863, her married name became Alexander. She lived at Elderslie, Renfrewshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Janet Marjory Forbes was born on 10 December 1830.¹ She was the daughter of Sir John Forbes of Craigievar, 7th Bt. and Hon. Charlotte Elizabeth Forbes.¹ She was baptised on 16 February 1831 at Fintray, Aberdeenshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Margaret Forbes was born on 1 January 1834.¹ She was the daughter of Sir John Forbes of Craigievar, 7th Bt. and Hon. Charlotte Elizabeth Forbes.¹ She was baptised on 28 February 1834 at Fintray, Aberdeenshire, Scotland^G.¹ She died on 15 September 1834.¹

     Rachel Mary Josephine McDonnell was born circa 1855 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.¹ She was the daughter of Alexander McDonnell.¹ She married Henry Thomas Silvertop, son of Henry Charles Silvertop and Hon. Eliza Stonor, in 1882.¹
     From 1882, her married name became Silvertop.¹

     Arnulph Claud Alexander was born on 6 September 1891.¹ He was the son of Sir Claud Alexander of Ballochmyle, 2nd Bt. and Lady Diana Montgomerie.² He died on 6 January 1892.¹

     Reverend David Mackenzie graduated with a Bachelor of Divinity (B.D.)¹

     Sir Claud Hagart-Alexander of Ballochmyle, 3rd Bt. was born on 6 January 1927.¹ He was the son of Wilfrid Archibald Alexander and Mary Prudence Acheson.² He married Hilda Etain Acheson, daughter of Miles Malcolm Acheson and Hilda de Vere Beauclerk, on 16 April 1959.¹ He died on 23 January 2006 at age 79.³
     He was educated at Sherborne School, Sherborne, Dorset, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Alexander, of Ballochmyle [U.K., 1886] on 18 March 1945.² He graduated from Corpus Christi College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1948 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court on 15 December 1948.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Ayrshire in 1973.¹ In 1980 MInstMC.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Cumnock and Doon Valley in 1983.¹ He held the office of Vice-Lord-Lieutenant of Ayrshire and Arran between 1983 and 1998.¹ He lived in 2003 at Kingencleuch House, Mauchline, Ayrshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Joan Bessells married Henry Leigh, son of John Leigh and Joan Newburgh.¹
     Her married name became Leigh.¹
