     Robert Walter Egerton was born on 3 July 1855 at Anarkulle, Bengal, India.^1,2 He was the son of Sir Robert Eyles Egerton and Mary Warren Hickey.³ He married Flora Augusta Shubrick, daughter of General Richard Shubrick and Flora Anne Gilbert, on 25 June 1887 at St. Mary Abbott’s, Kensington, London, England.^1,2 He died on 30 April 1933 at age 77 at Stansty Lodge, Denbighshire, Wales.^1,2
     He was Chief Engineer with the Public Works Department, India.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Denbighshire.¹

     General Richard Shubrick married Flora Anne Gilbert, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir Walter Raleigh Gilbert, 1st Bt. and Isabella Rose Ross, on 8 February 1849 at The Parish Church, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.²

     Flora Augusta Shubrick was born circa 1852 at India.² She was the daughter of General Richard Shubrick and Flora Anne Gilbert.^3,2 She married Robert Walter Egerton, son of Sir Robert Eyles Egerton and Mary Warren Hickey, on 25 June 1887 at St. Mary Abbott’s, Kensington, London, England.^1,2 She died on 13 January 1927.¹
     From 25 June 1887, her married name became Egerton.

     Robert Randle Egerton was born on 20 March 1888.¹ He was the son of Robert Walter Egerton and Flora Augusta Shubrick.² He died on 6 November 1914 at age 26, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Engineers.¹

     Lt.-Gen. Sir Raleigh Gilbert Egerton was born on 25 September 1860.¹ He was the son of Sir Robert Eyles Egerton and Mary Warren Hickey.² He married, firstly, Bridget Watson Askew-Robertson, daughter of Watson Askew-Robertson of Pallinsburn and Ladykirk and Hon. Sarah Robertson, on 22 August 1894.¹ He married, secondly, Maud Helen Prescott, daughter of Sir George Rendelsham Prescott, 4th Bt., on 21 March 1903.¹ He died on 2 May 1931 at age 70.¹
     He fought in the Hazara Expedition in 1888.¹ He fought in the Isazai Expedition in 1892.¹ Between 1894 and 1895 Waziristan Campaign.¹ He fought in the Chitral Campaign in 1895.¹ He fought in the Dongola Campaign in 1896.¹ He fought in the Waziristan Campaign between 1901 and 1902.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He was commander of the 7th Infantry Brigade, Indian Expeditionary Force between 1914 and 1916.¹ He was commander of the a Division of the Mesopotamia Expeditionary Force between 1916 and 1917.¹ He was commander of the 3rd Indian Army Corps between 1917 and 1919.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Indian Empire (K.C.I.E.)¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)¹

     Lt.-Col. John Dallas Waters married Hon. Lettice Legh, daughter of Thomas Wodehouse Legh, 2nd Baron Newton and Evelyn Caroline Bromley Davenport, on 6 February 1919.¹ He died on 31 January 1967.¹
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Fusiliers.¹

     Bridget Watson Askew-Robertson was the daughter of Watson Askew-Robertson of Pallinsburn and Ladykirk and Hon. Sarah Robertson.² She married Lt.-Gen. Sir Raleigh Gilbert Egerton, son of Sir Robert Eyles Egerton and Mary Warren Hickey, on 22 August 1894.¹ She died on 23 November 1894, without issue.¹
     From 22 August 1894, her married name became Egerton.

     Lt.-Col. David George Egerton was born on 20 June 1904.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Sir Raleigh Gilbert Egerton and Maud Helen Prescott.² He married Jane Tweedie Adams McKean, daughter of Marshal John McKean, on 4 December 1947.¹ He died on 9 June 1961 at age 56, without issue.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Probyn’s Horse, Indian Army.¹
