Philip Morys Egerton was born on 4 December 1903.¹ He was the son of John Marjoribanks-Egerton and Maud Geraldine Mary Chambers.² He married Adeline Barbara Chambers, daughter of Major Osborn Augustin Chambers and Catherine Mary Duppa, on 28 December 1933.¹ He died on 18 January 1969 at age 65.¹
     He was educated at Oratory School, Woodcote, Edgbaston, Warwickshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1929 in the Royal Irish Fusiliers.¹ He was a military historian.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Armagh.¹ He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1945.¹

     Major Osborn Augustin Chambers was born in 1861.² He was the son of William Henry Chambers and Catherine Mary Duppa.² He married Catherine Mary Duppa, daughter of Baldwin Francis Duppa and Adeline Frances Mary Dart, in 1899 at Newton Abbot, Devon, England.² He died in 1941.²
     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Warwickshire Regiment.¹ He lived at Manor House, Sandgate, Kent, England^G.¹

     Adeline Barbara Chambers was born on 23 July 1905 at Salcombe, Devon, England.² She was the daughter of Major Osborn Augustin Chambers and Catherine Mary Duppa.^3,2 She married Lt.-Col. Philip Morys Egerton, son of John Marjoribanks-Egerton and Maud Geraldine Mary Chambers, on 28 December 1933.¹ She died in 1986.¹
     From 28 December 1933, her married name became Egerton.

     Philippa Anne Mary Egerton was born on 7 May 1936.¹ She is the daughter of Lt.-Col.
