Sir Philip John Caledon Grey Egerton, 15th Bt. was born on 19 October 1920.1 He was the son of Sir Philip Reginald Belward Grey Egerton, 14th Bt. and Dorothy Aveys Balguy.2 He married, firstly, Margaret Voase Rank, daughter of Rowland Rank, on 4 June 1952.1 He married, secondly, Frances Mary Rainey-Robinson, daughter of Lt.-Col. Robert Maximilian Rainey-Robinson and Alice Frances Hildebrand, in 1986.1 He died on 19 February 2008 at age 87, without issue.3
