     Frances Gooch was born in 1824 at Bedlington, Northumberland, England.² She was the daughter of John Gooch and Anna Longridge.³ She married Reverend William Laing, son of Joseph Laing and Isabella Poppelwell, on 25 April 1865.¹ She died on 11 April 1889.¹
     From 25 April 1865, her married name became Laing.

     Reverend William Laing was born on 22 September 1814 at North Shields, Northumberland, England.² He was the son of Joseph Laing and Isabella Poppelwell.² He was baptised on 12 October 1814 at Christ Church, Tynemouth, Northumberland, England.² He married Frances Gooch, daughter of John Gooch and Anna Longridge, on 25 April 1865.¹ He died on 16 March 1898 at age 83.²
     He was Curate between 1844 and 1846 at Oldbury, Warwickshire, England.² He was Vicar between 1846 and 1888 at Langley, Staffordshire, England^G.¹

     Sir Daniel Gooch, 1st Bt. was born on 24 August 1816.¹ He was the son of John Gooch and Anna Longridge.² He married, firstly, Margaret Tanner, daughter of Henry Tanner, on 22 March 1838.¹ He married, secondly, Emily Burder, daughter of John Burder, on 17 September 1870.¹ He died on 15 October 1889 at age 73.¹
     He was a civil engineer involved in the laying the Atlantic cables between 1865 and 1866.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cricklade between 1865 and 1885.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Gooch, of Clewer Park [U.K.] on 5 November 1866.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹

     Henry Tanner lived at Bishopwearmouth, County Durham, England^G.¹

     Margaret Tanner was the daughter of Henry Tanner.² She married Sir Daniel Gooch, 1st Bt., son of John Gooch and Anna Longridge, on 22 March 1838.¹ She died on 22 May 1868.¹
     From 22 March 1838, her married name became Gooch.

     Sir Henry Daniel Gooch, 2nd Bt. was born on 30 December 1841.¹ He was the son of Sir Daniel Gooch, 1st Bt. and Margaret Tanner.² He married Mary Kelsall Croskey, daughter of Joseph Rodney Croskey, on 23 November 1865.¹ He died on 24 June 1897 at age 55.¹
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Gooch, of Clewer Park [U.K., 1866] on 15 October 1889.¹

     Joseph Rodney Croskey lived at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S.A.^G.¹

     Mary Kelsall Croskey was the daughter of Joseph Rodney Croskey.² She married Sir Henry Daniel Gooch, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Daniel Gooch, 1st Bt. and Margaret Tanner, on 23 November 1865.¹ She died on 11 March 1919.¹
     From 23 November 1865, her married name became Gooch.
