     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the 1st Battalion, Royal Hampshire Regiment.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Glyn, of Gaunts, Dorset [G.B., 1800] on 24 October 1980.² He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Glyn, of Ewell, Surrey [G.B., 1759] on 24 October 1980.² He lived in 2003 at Ashton Farmhouse, Stanbridge, Wimbourne, Dorset, England^G.¹
