     Sir Archibald Henry William Gibson-Craig-Carmichael of Riccarton, 7th/14th Bt. was born on 28 March 1917 at Christchurch, Hampshire, EnglandG.1,2 He was the son of Sir Eardley Charles William Gibson-Craig-Carmichael, 6th/13th Bt. and Emily Ellen Rummel.3 He married Rosemary Anita Crew, daughter of George Duncan Crew, on 12 November 1941.1 He died on 1 December 1969 at age 52 at Luis Thayer 243, Santiago, Chile.1,4
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 16th/5th Lancers.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Gibson-Craig, of Riccarton, Midlothian [U.K., 1831] on 24 February 1939.1 He succeeded as the 14th Baronet Gibson, of Keirhill, Midlothian [N.S., 1702] on 24 February 1939.1
