Dora Valerie Patricia Canning, daughter of Leopold Ernest Stratford George Canning, 4th Baron Garvagh and Dora Parker, on 13 January 1942.1 He died on 6 June 1944 at age 25, killed in action.3
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Artillery.1 He fought in the Second World War.1
