     Thomas Metcalfe Blois Turner was born on 9 November 1809 at Charlotte Street, Bedford Square, London, England^G.¹ He was the son of Dr. Thomas Turner and Lucretia Grace Blois.¹ He married Herbertina Compton on 24 January 1835 at Bombay Cathedral, Bombay, India^G.¹ He died on 9 July 1847 at age 37 at Bombay, India^G.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Honourable East India Company Engineers.¹

     Herbertina Compton was born on 2 July 1815.¹ She married Thomas Metcalfe Blois Turner, son of Dr. Thomas Turner and Lucretia Grace Blois, on 24 January 1835 at Bombay Cathedral, Bombay, India^G.¹
     From 24 January 1835, her married name became Turner.¹

     Thomas Compton Turner was born on 21 January 1837.¹ He was the son of Thomas Metcalfe Blois Turner and Herbertina Compton.¹ He died on 21 June 1840 at age 3.¹ He was buried at Ahmednagar, India^G.¹

     Anne Lucretia Turner was born on 29 April 1839 at Poonah, India^G.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Metcalfe Blois Turner and Herbertina Compton.¹ She died on 1 May 1839.¹ She was buried at Poonah, India^G.¹

     Grace Eliza Turner was born on 12 July 1840.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Metcalfe Blois Turner and Herbertina Compton.¹
