Captain Henry Mitford was born on 12 September 1769.1 He was the son of William Mitford and Frances Molloy.1,2 He married, firstly, Louisa Wyke, daughter of Anthony Wyke, in 1796.1 He married, secondly, Mary Anstruther, daughter of David Anstruther, in 1803.1 He died on 24 December 1803 at age 34, lost at sea in H.M.S. York.1

William Mitford was born on 10 February 1744.1 He was the son of John Mitford and Philadelphia Reveley.1,2 He married Frances Molloy, daughter of James Molloy, on 18 May 1766.1 He died on 8 February 1827 at age 82.1
He was admitted to Middle Temple entitled to practise as a barrister.1 He wrote the book The History of Greece (5 vols), published between 1784 and 1818.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Beeralston between 1796 and 1806.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the South Hampshire Militia.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for New Romney between 1812 and 1818.1 He lived at Exbury, Hampshire, England.1 He lived at Newton Park, Northumberland, England.1 He lived at Newby Wisk, Yorkshire, England.1
