     Patricia Flower Furness was born on 14 July 1931.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Christopher Furness, 2nd Bt. and Violet Flower Chipchase Roberts.² She married Major Paul Ian Craven Payne, son of A. Wyndham Payne, on 9 October 1960.¹ She died on 18 April 2018 at age 86.³
     From 9 October 1960, her married name became Payne. She lived in 2003 at Whitehall, Old Cleeve, Minehead, Somerset, England^G.¹

     Major Paul Ian Craven Payne was born in 1920.² He was the son of A. Wyndham Payne.³ He married Patricia Flower Furness, daughter of Sir Christopher Furness, 2nd Bt. and Violet Flower Chipchase Roberts, on 9 October 1960.¹ He died on 25 October 2005.²
     He gained the rank of Major in the The Royal Scots (The Royal Regiment.)¹ He fought in the Malayan Emergency.¹ He was educated at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Repton School, Repton, Derbyshire, England^G.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries, Scotland (F.S.A.Scot.)¹

     Brian Wyndham Payne was born on 27 July 1961.¹ He is the son of Major Paul Ian Craven Payne and Patricia Flower Furness.² He married, firstly, Sally Jane Thomas, daughter of Garnet Thomas, in 1992.¹ He and Sally Jane Thomas were divorced in 1999.¹ He married, secondly, Stephanie Joanna Jane Turner, daughter of Rodney Francis Turner, in 2002.¹
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Bristol University, Bristol, England^G, with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)¹ He gained the rank of Captain in 1988 in the The King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery.¹ He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1993 entitled to practise as a barrister.¹

     Garnet Thomas lived at Ferwig, Dyfed, Wales^G.¹

     Sally Jane Thomas is the daughter of Garnet Thomas.² She married Brian Wyndham Payne, son of Major Paul Ian Craven Payne and Patricia Flower Furness, in 1992.¹ She and Brian Wyndham Payne were divorced in 1999.¹
     From 1992, her married name became Payne.
