     Sir Howard George Frank, 1st Bt. was born on 10 November 1871.¹ He was the son of Frederick Frank.² He married, firstly, Mabel Helen Arnold, daughter of Joseph Arnold, on 11 September 1896.¹ He married, secondly, Annie Muriel Brooks, daughter of John Brooks, on 12 January 1922.¹ He died on 10 January 1932 at age 60.¹
     He was senior partner of Knight, Frank and Rutley in 1910.¹ He was appointed Knight Bachelor in 1914.¹ He was Director-General of the Lands War Office, Minister Munitions and Air Minister between 1917 and 1922.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1918.¹ He succeeded as the 1st Baronet Frank, of Withyham, co. Sussex [U.K., 1920] on 19 June 1920.¹ He was director of Norwich Union Fire Insurance Society.¹ He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the British Empire (G.B.E.) in 1924.¹

     Joseph Arnold lived at Tunbridge Wells, Kent, England^G.¹

     Mabel Helen Arnold was the daughter of Joseph Arnold.² She married Sir Howard George Frank, 1st Bt., son of Frederick Frank, on 11 September 1896.¹ She died on 5 December 1920.¹
     From 11 September 1896, her married name became Frank.

     Mary Doreen Frank is the daughter of Sir Howard George Frank, 1st Bt. and Mabel Helen Arnold.² She married, secondly, D. Green.¹ She married, firstly, Lieutenant Kenneth Norman Mackenzie MacRae, son of Alexander William MacRae, on 1 December 1922.¹ She and Lieutenant Kenneth Norman Mackenzie MacRae were divorced in 1936.¹
     Her married name became Green.¹ From 1 December 1922, her married name became MacRae.

     Lieutenant Kenneth Norman Mackenzie MacRae was the son of Alexander William MacRae.² He married Mary Doreen Frank, daughter of Sir Howard George Frank, 1st Bt. and Mabel Helen Arnold, on 1 December 1922.¹ He and Mary Doreen Frank were divorced in 1936.¹ He died on 2 July 1958.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy.¹

     Annie Muriel Brooks is the daughter of John Brooks.² She married, firstly, Sir Howard George Frank, 1st Bt., son of Frederick Frank, on 12 January 1922.¹ She married, secondly, Air Marshal Sir Arthur Coningham on 11 July 1932.¹
     She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹ From 12 January 1922, her married name became Frank.¹ From 11 July 1932, her married name became Coningham.¹

     Sir Howard Frederick Frank, 2nd Bt. was born on 5 April 1923.¹ He was the son of Sir Howard George Frank, 1st Bt. and Annie Muriel Brooks.² He died on 10 September 1944 at age 21 at Belgium^G, killed in action.^1,3
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Frank, of Withyham, co. Sussex [U.K., 1920] on 10 January 1932.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Grenadier Guards.¹
