     Elizabeth Rose Manson was the daughter of David Davidson Manson.1 She married, firstly, Captain Rowland Hill Gordon, son of Lt.-Gen. William Alexander Gordon and Mary Annie Gordon, on 8 July 1856 at Elgin, Morayshire, Scotland.2 She and Captain Rowland Hill Gordon were divorced in 1869.2 She married, secondly, Colonel Arthur Hare Vincent, son of Berkeley Vincent and Helena Hare, on 1 February 1871.1 She died on 17 December 1879.1
     From 8 July 1856, her married name became Gordon.2 From 1 February 1871, her married name became Vincent.1
