     She was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)¹ From 1899, her married name became Fitzwilliams.¹

     Ruth Anne Mary Sturges-Jones married Charles Collinsplatt Lloyd Fitzwilliams, son of Colonel Edward Crawford Lloyd Fitzwilliams and Maud Collins-Splatt, on 24 February 1927.¹ She died on 9 February 1936 at New Cilgwyn, Lusaka, Zambia^G.¹
     From 24 February 1927, her married name became Fitzwilliams.¹
