     Mary Paulye was born circa 1619.¹ She was the daughter of Richard Paulye.² She married Alexander Duncombe, son of William Duncombe and Margaret Theed, on 15 May 1645.¹ She died circa November 1716.¹ She was buried on 7 November 1716.¹
     From 15 May 1645, her married name became Duncombe.

     Sir Charles Duncombe was baptised on 16 November 1648.¹ He was the son of Alexander Duncombe and Mary Paulye.² He died on 9 April 1711 at age 62, unmarried.¹
     He bought the Helmsley estate, N R Yorks, for almost £90,000, at that time the largest sum expended on such an acquisition by a subject in English history.¹ He was a goldsmith and banker.¹ He was a Clerk in Chancery from 1682 to 1683.¹ He held the office of Alderman of London between 1683 and 1686, Broad Street Ward.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Hedon, Yorkshire between 1685 and 1687.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Yarmouth, Isle of Wight between 1690 and 1695.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Downton, Wiltshire between 1695 and 1698, when he was expelled for fraud.¹ He was appointed Knight in 1699.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of London in 1699.¹ He held the office of Alderman of London in 1700, Bridge Ward.¹ He was Receiver of Customs.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Downton, Wiltshire between 1702 and 1711.¹ He was Treasurer of the Artillery Company from 1703 to 29 February 1703/4.¹ He held the office of Lord Mayor of London from 1708 to 1709.¹

     Anthony Duncombe is the son of Alexander Duncombe and Mary Paulye.² He married Jane Cornwallis, daughter of Frederick Cornwallis.¹

     Jane Cornwallis is the daughter of Frederick Cornwallis.¹ She married Anthony Duncombe, son of Alexander Duncombe and Mary Paulye.¹
     Her married name became Duncombe.

     Matilda Frances Collins was born circa 1831 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹ She was the daughter of William Collins.¹ She married Walter Lambert Hickman, son of Edward Shadwell Hickman and Sarah Lambert, on 4 January 1858 at Trinity Church, Bath, Somerset, England^G.¹
     From 4 January 1858, her married name became Hickman.¹

     William Collins lived at 51 Waterloo Road, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹

     Edward Shadwell Hickman was born before 23 December 1858 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹ He was the son of Walter Lambert Hickman and Matilda Frances Collins.¹ He died in 1882 at Alexandria, Egypt.²

     Anna M. Hickman was born circa 1859 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹ She was the daughter of Walter Lambert Hickman and Matilda Frances Collins.¹
