     Martha Agnes Coningsby was born at North Mimms, Herefordshire, EnglandG.2 She was the daughter of Sir Henry Coningsby and Hester Cambell.2 She married Sir William Hicks, 2nd Bt., son of Sir William Hicks, 1st Bt. and Hon. Margaret Paget, on 13 February 1660/61 at Shenley, Herefordshire, EnglandG.1,2 She was also reported to have been married on 7 February 1661/62.3 She died in 1723.3
     From 7 February 1661/62, her married name became Hicks.2

     Sir William Hicks, 2nd Bt. was born in December 1629 at Rook Holes, Essex, EnglandG.2,3,4 He was the son of Sir William Hicks, 1st Bt. and Hon. Margaret Paget.4 He married Martha Agnes Coningsby, daughter of Sir Henry Coningsby and Hester Cambell, on 13 February 1660/61 at Shenley, Herefordshire, EnglandG.2,3 He was also reported to have been married on 7 February 1661/62.4 He died on 22 April 1703 at age 73.4
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Hicks, of Beverston Castle, co. Gloucester [E., 1619] on 9 October 1680.4 He held the office of High Sheriff of Essex from 1684 to 1685.4
