     Joan Ella Brodie Henderson was born on 21 July 1916.¹ She was the daughter of Brig.-Gen. Sir Brodie Haldane Henderson and Charlotte Ella Jones.² She married Sir Fiennes William Strang Steel, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Samuel Strang Steel of Philiphaugh, 1st Bt. and Hon. Vere Mabel Cornwallis, on 7 August 1941.² She died on 5 June 1982 at age 65.²
     From 7 August 1941, her married name became Strang Steel.

     Sir Fiennes William Strang Steel, 2nd Bt. was born on 24 July 1912.² He is the son of Sir Samuel Strang Steel of Philiphaugh, 1st Bt. and Hon. Vere Mabel Cornwallis.² He married Joan Ella Brodie Henderson, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Sir Brodie Haldane Henderson and Charlotte Ella Jones, on 7 August 1941.² He died in 1992.²
     Sir Fiennes William Strang Steel, 2nd Bt. usually went by his middle name of William.² He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.² He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.² He gained the rank of Major in the 17th/21st Lancers.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Selkirkshire in 1955.² He was member of the Forestry Commission in 1958.² He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Strang Steel, of Philiphaugh, Selkirk [U.K., 1938] on 14 August 1961.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Selkirkshire in 1965.²

     Eliza Cockshott Henderson was born on 16 February 1854.¹ She was the daughter of George Henderson and Eliza Cockshott.² She married Walter Crossland on 30 April 1892.¹ She died on 17 February 1947 at age 93.¹
     From 30 April 1892, her married name became Crossland.

     Walter Crossland married Eliza Cockshott Henderson, daughter of George Henderson and Eliza Cockshott, on 30 April 1892.¹ He died on 2 October 1943.¹

     Caroline Henderson was born on 8 March 1856.¹ She was the daughter of George Henderson and Eliza Cockshott.² She died on 9 February 1927 at age 70, unmarried.¹

     Louisa Henderson was born on 7 March 1858.¹ She was the daughter of George Henderson and Eliza Cockshott.²

     Philip John Faram was born on 20 May 1976.¹ He is the son of Philip Neil Faram and Hon. Felicity Lilla Wallace.¹

     John Lea is the son of John Lea and Anne Tibbots.² He married Mary Deely, daughter of William Deely.¹
     He lived at Halesowen Grange, Worcestershire, England^G.¹

     Hon. Frank Henderson was born on 11 October 1877.¹ He was the son of Alexander Henderson, 1st Baron Faringdon and Jane Ellen Davis.² He died on 20 January 1924 at age 46, unmarried.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 7th Hussars.¹

     Hon. Philip Henderson was born on 16 March 1881.¹ He was the son of Alexander Henderson, 1st Baron Faringdon and Jane Ellen Davis.² He married Rachel Madeleine Mary Hope-Vere, daughter of Lt.-Col. James Charles Hope-Vere and Marie Elizabeth Françoise Guillemin, on 20 July 1908.¹ He died on 21 March 1939 at age 58.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the 2nd Company London Yeomanry.¹ He gained the rank of Temporary Lieutenant-Colonel in the Tank Corps.¹ He was registered as a Member, Institution of Mechanical Engineers (M.I.M.E.)¹ He was registered as a Member, Institution of Civil Engineers (M.I.C.E.)¹
