William Cuningham1

     William Cuningham was born on 4 April 1787.1 He was the son of Alexander Cuningham and Sarah Reid.2 He married Rebecca Armstrong, daughter of William Armstrong, on 31 December 1816.1 He died on 11 August 1838 at age 51.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the Honourable East India Company Service.1
