     Elsie Kate Reid was born in 1895 at Holloway, London, England.² She was the daughter of Adam Inch Ritchie Reid and Alice Alexandra Turner.^3,2 She married Edward Arthur Every-Clayton, son of Edward Every-Clayton and Mary Featherstonhaugh Heylin, on 24 June 1926 at Barnet, London, England.^1,2 She died in 1962 at Isle of Wight, England.²
     From 24 June 1926, her married name became Every-Clayton.
