     Therese Gräfin von Meran was born on 13 January 1906 at Stuhlweissenburg^G.¹ She is the daughter of Franz Peter Johann Graf von Meran and Marie Johanna Prinzessin von und zu Liechtenstein.¹ She married Ferdinand Aloys Graf von Westphalen zu Fürstenburg, son of Ottakar Clemens Graf Westphalen zu Fürstenburg and Josephine Gräfin von und zu Trauttmansdorff-Weinsberg, on 9 April 1931 at Graz, Austria^G.¹
     She was given the name of Therese Marie Josefa Franziska Aloisia Ignacia at birth.¹ From 9 April 1931, her married name became von Westphalen.
