     She was given the name of Marie Valerie Johanna Franziska Antonia at birth.¹ From 1 August 1921, her married name became von Goëss. She lived in 1976 at Schloss Gradisch, Feldkirchen, Kärnten, Austria^G.¹

     Johann Anton Douglas Reichsgraf von Goëss was born on 31 January 1892 at Klagenfurt, Austria^G.¹ He was the son of Leopold Peter Reichsgraf von Goëss and Marianne Gräfin von Thurn und Valsássina-Como-Vercelli.¹ He married Marie Valerie von Meran, daughter of Johann Graf von Meran and Ladislaja Maria Karoline Franziska Therese Gräfin von Lamberg, on 1 August 1921 at Graz, Austria^G.¹ He died on 25 October 1970 at age 78 at Schloss Gradisch, Feldkirchen, Kärnten, Austria^G.¹
     He was appointed Knight, Order of the Golden Fleece.¹

     Johann Karl Franz Joseph Konrad Graf von Meran was born on 24 October 1934 at Graz, Austria^G.¹ He was the son of Franz von Meran and Wilhelmine Marie Franziska Prinzessin von Auersperg.¹ He married Ingrid Messner, daughter of Alfred Messner and Rosa Hermann, on 13 June 1959 at Innsbruck, Austria^G, in a civil marriage.¹ Johann Karl Franz Joseph Konrad and Ingrid were also married in a religious ceremony on 15 June 1959 at St. Anton, Tirol, Austria^G.¹ He died in 1978.
     He lived in 1977 at Schloss Stainz, Weststeirmark, Austria^G.¹
