     Gilbert William Henry Eliott was born on 2 December 1857.¹ He was the son of Francis Willoughby Eliott and Sara Jane Richards.² He married Emily Chatfield, daughter of Captain C. F. Chatfield, in 1886.¹ He died in 1947.¹

     Captain C. F. Chatfield lived at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.¹

     Emily Chatfield was the daughter of Captain C. F. Chatfield.² She married Gilbert William Henry Eliott, son of Francis Willoughby Eliott and Sara Jane Richards, in 1886.¹ She died in 1925.¹
     From 1886, her married name became Eliott.

     Charles Francis Eliott was born on 24 January 1889.¹ He was the son of Gilbert William Henry Eliott and Emily Chatfield.² He died in August 1931 at age 42.¹
     He fought in the First World War, where he was twice wounded and was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in 1914 in the Australian Infantry.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹

     Gilbert William Eliott was born on 21 July 1894.¹ He was the son of Gilbert William Henry Eliott and Emily Chatfield.² He married Lilian Mary Towle, daughter of William Towle, in 1921.¹ He died on 10 January 1961 at age 66.¹
     He gained the rank of in the Australian Forces.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹

     Lilian Mary Towle was born in 1885 at Shardlow, Derbyshire, England^G.² She was the daughter of William Towle.³ She married, firstly, Neville Dalley before 1921.¹ She married, secondly, Gilbert William Eliott, son of Gilbert William Henry Eliott and Emily Chatfield, in 1921.¹ She died in 1968.¹
     From before 1921, her married name became Dalley.¹ From 1921, her married name became Eliott.

     Gilbert Rowley Roxburgh Eliott was born in November 1923.¹ He is the son of Gilbert William Eliott and Lilian Mary Towle.² He married Helen Ross Martin, daughter of A. H. Martin, in 1944.¹
     He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in the Royal Australian Air Force.¹ He graduated from Sydney University, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia^G, in 1952 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S.)¹ He lived in 2003 at 53 Epping Road, Epping, New South Wales, Australia^G.¹

     A. H. Martin lived at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia^G.¹ He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)¹
