     Maj.-Gen. Henry Pipon was the son of Colonel J. K. Pipon.2 He married Louisa Ann Edmonstone, daughter of Admiral Sir William Edmonstone of Duntreath, 4th Bt. and Mary Elizabeth Parsons, on 12 October 1872.1 He died on 14 January 1924.1
     He was Major of the Tower of London.1 He gained the rank of Major-General in the Royal Horse Artillery.1 He was Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1
