     Alice Adelaide Cleveland was the daughter of Henry Cleveland.¹ She married, firstly, Patrick Cumin Scott before 1911.¹ She married, secondly, Charles Frederic Earle, son of Sir Thomas Earle, 2nd Bt. and Emily Fletcher, on 30 November 1911.¹ She died on 22 May 1942.¹
     From before 1911, her married name became Scott.¹ From 30 November 1911, her married name became Earle.

     Evelyn Alice Earle was born on 30 August 1912.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Frederic Earle and Alice Adelaide Cleveland.² She died in 2003.¹

     Josephine Noëlle Earle was born on 25 December 1914.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Frederic Earle and Alice Adelaide Cleveland.² She married Thomas Douglas Victor Swinscow, son of William Sprague Swinscow and Nellie Alleyne, on 17 July 1941.¹ She died on 10 November 2005 at age 90.¹
     From 17 July 1941, her married name became Swinscow.

     Thomas Douglas Victor Swinscow usually went by his middle name of Douglas.² He was educated at Kelly College, Tavistock, Devon, England^G.² He graduated from St. Thomas Hospital Medical School, London, England^G, in 1940 with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.)^1,2 He was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Physicians, London (L.R.C.P.)² He was registered as a Member, Royal College of Surgeons (M.R.C.S.)² He gained the rank of Lieutenant on 15 May 1941 in the Royal Army Medical Corps.² He fought in the Second World War, and was wounded at Arnhem.² He was deputy editor of the British Medical Jounral between 1946 and 1977.¹ He graduated from St. Thomas Hospital Medical School, London, England^G, in 1947 with a Bachelor of Surgery (B.S.)^1,2 He graduated with a Doctor of Science (D.Sc.)¹ He wrote the book Reap a Destiny: divagations of a Taoist, published 1989.²

     Louise Patricia Swinscow was born on 25 February 1947.¹ She is the daughter of Thomas Douglas Victor Swinscow and Josephine Noëlle Earle.²
