Sir William Robert Estridge Durrant, 5th Bt. was born on 19 August 1840.1 He was the son of Sir Henry Thomas Estridge Durrant, 3rd Bt. and Julia Diana Stracey.2 He married Emily Grace Street, daughter of John Street, on 3 June 1869.1 He died on 17 December 1912 at age 72.1
He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 15th Regiment.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Durrant, of Scottow, co. Norfolk [G.B., 1784] on 6 April 1875.1
