     Ethel Agnes Trench was born in 1867.² She was the daughter of William Wallace Trench and Elizabeth French Allin.¹ She died on 18 November 1926, unmarried.¹

     Major Patrick Millington Synge was born on 17 September 1910.² He was the son of Edward Millington Synge and Agnes Freda Helen Molony.^1,2 He married Margaret Georgiana Chenevix Trench, daughter of Colonel Arthur Henry Chenevix Trench and Dorothy Pauline Steel, on 14 April 1944.¹ He died on 16 August 1982 at age 71 at Chichester, Sussex, England.^1,3
     He graduated from Corpus Christi College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He gained the rank of Major in the Intelligence Corps.¹ He fought in the Second World War between 1943 and 1945.² He was editor of the Horticultural Journal between 1945 and 1970.² He was editor of the Royal orticultural Society Dictionary of Gardening.² He was awarded the Victoria Medal of the Royal Horticultural Society in 1971.² He lived in 1976 at Byworth Edge, Petworth, Sussex, England^G.²

     Edward Millington Synge was born on 17 April 1866.² He was the son of Reverend Francis Synge and Margaret Harkness.² He married Agnes Freda Helen Molony, daughter of Frederick Beresford Molony, on 1 February 1908.² He died in 1913.²
     He was a painter and etcher.² He lived at Clare Cottage, West Byfleet, Surrey, England^G.¹

     Arthur Hugh Millington Synge was born on 4 August 1951.¹ He was the son of Major Patrick Millington Synge and Margaret Georgiana Chenevix Trench.¹ He died on 4 August 2018 at age 67, from cancer.²
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Wye College, London University, London, England^G, with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)¹ He was a botanist between 1973 and 1987 at Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, London, England^G.¹ He graduated from Kingston University, England^G, with a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.)¹ In 1995 he was director of Plant Talk.¹

     Robert Patrick Synge was born on 21 January 1957.¹ He is the son of Major Patrick Millington Synge and Margaret Georgiana Chenevix Trench.¹ He married Susan Jean Frances Wixley in 1992.¹
     He was educated at Stowe School, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹

     Susan Jean Frances Wixley married Robert Patrick Synge, son of Major Patrick Millington Synge and Margaret Georgiana Chenevix Trench, in 1992.¹
     From 1992, her married name became Synge.¹

     Roderick Peter Garratt Wilson was the son of Sir Roderick Wilson.¹ He married Dorothy Anne Chenevix Trench, daughter of Colonel Arthur Henry Chenevix Trench and Dorothy Pauline Steel, on 10 April 1942.¹ He died in 1994.¹

     Sir Roderick Wilson lived at Woos End, Pyrford, Surrey, England^G.¹ Sir Roderick Wilson also went by the nick-name of Roy.¹

     Nicholas Allan Roy Wilson, Lord Wilson of Culworth was born on 9 May 1945.¹ He is the son of Roderick Peter Garratt Wilson and Dorothy Anne Chenevix Trench.¹ He married Margaret Higgins, daughter of Reginald Francis Higgins, in 1974.¹
     He was educated at Bryanston School, Blandford, Dorset, England^G.¹ He graduated from Worcester College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1967 entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-Law.¹ He held the office of Recorder of the Crown Court in 1987.¹ He was appointed Queen’s Counsel (Q.C.) in 1987.¹ He was appointed Knight Bachelor in 1993.¹ He held the office of Judge of the High Court, Family Division in 1993.¹ He held the office of Supreme Court Justice.
