     Henry Prittie married Honor Foley, daughter of Richard Foley.1 He died in 1671.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Kentish Regiment of Horse, New Model Army.1 He gained the rank of Major in 1649 in the Cromwell’s New Regiment of Horse.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Carlow in 1650.1 He held the office of Governor of Carlow in 1652.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Tipperary in 1659.1 On 26 June 1667 he was granted Dunalley Castle and other estates in Counties Kerry and Tipperary.1
