     John Alexander Charles French was born posthumously on 13 July 1915.¹ He was the son of Claude Alexander French and Dorothy Christine Maud Birdwood.² He married, firstly, Joy Prybe.¹ He married, secondly, Betty (?) after 1963.¹ He died, without issue.¹
     He was educated at The Oratory School, Reading, Berkshire, England.³

     Joy Prybe married John Alexander Charles French, son of Claude Alexander French and Dorothy Christine Maud Birdwood.¹ She died in 1963.¹
     Her married name became French.

     Henry Cecil French was born on 20 January 1884.¹ He was the son of John Alexander French and Elizabeth Mary Stockley.² He died on 9 September 1884.¹

     Aubrey William French was born on 25 February 1887.¹ He was the son of John Alexander French and Elizabeth Mary Stockley.² He died on 9 June 1902 at age 15.¹

     Charles Stockley French was born on 4 July 1892.¹ He was the son of John Alexander French and Elizabeth Mary Stockley.² He died on 25 April 1915 at age 22 at St. Julien, Belgium^G, killed in action, unmarried.¹
     He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Dublin Fusiliers.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹

     Lucy Eileen French was born on 26 May 1876.¹ She was the daughter of John Alexander French and Elizabeth Mary Stockley.² She died on 20 November 1885 at age 9.¹

     Josephine Alice French was born on 22 February 1879.¹ She was the daughter of John Alexander French and Elizabeth Mary Stockley.² She married Charles Molyneux Benson, son of Sir Ralph Sillery Benson and Frances Catherine Gilbert Cooper, on 17 March 1904.¹ She died in January 1956 at age 76.¹
     From 17 March 1904, her married name became Benson.

     Sir Ralph Sillery Benson married Frances Catherine Gilbert Cooper, daughter of Venerable Robert Gilbert Cooper.¹
     He held the office of Judge of the High Court [Madras].¹

     Charles Molyneux Benson was the son of Sir Ralph Sillery Benson and Frances Catherine Gilbert Cooper.^2,1 He married Josephine Alice French, daughter of John Alexander French and Elizabeth Mary Stockley, on 17 March 1904.¹ He died in February 1919.¹
     He lived at 72 Lower Baggot Street, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹ He lived at Riversdale, Donnybrook, County Dublin, Ireland^G.² He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland (F.R.C.S.I.)¹
