     He was educated at The Abbey School, Tipperary, County Tipperary, Ireland^G.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.¹ He was educated at Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.¹ He fought in the Battle of Jutland on 31 May 1916.¹ He was with the Colonial Medical Service.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Army Medical Corps.¹

     Desmond Fitzmaurice was born on 1 April 1896.² He is the son of William Henry Fitzmaurice and Emma Theodora Jameson.² He married Alma Violet Lloyd Hoare, daughter of Edward Wallis Hoare and Emily Helen, on 10 July 1941.²
     He was a gold prospector in British Guiana between 1930 and 1940.² He was with WI Admin Demerara Bauxite Company.² He lived at Riverview, Killumney, County Cork, Ireland^G.² He lived in 1976 at Avonlee, Hollymount, County Cork, Ireland^G.²

     Wilfred Haughton Fitzmaurice was born on 11 January 1899.¹ He was the son of William Henry Fitzmaurice and Emma Theodora Jameson.² He married Marjorie Rose Walker, daughter of Lt.-Col. Francis Spring Walker, on 27 November 1961.¹ He died in 1969, without issue.^1,3
     He was educated at The Abbey School, Tipperary, County Tipperary, Ireland^G.¹ He was educated at Wellington Cadet College, India.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He was commissioned, in the service of the 6th Royal Frontier Force Rifles, Indian Army.¹ He was Indian Army in 1918.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches and was wounded.¹ He was Deputy Inspector-General, Frontier Corps between 1946 and 1950 at Pakistan^G.¹ He retired from the military in 1950, with the rank of Colonel.¹ He lived at Riverview, Killumney, Ovens, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹

     Dymphna Fitzmaurice was born on 10 August 1902.¹ She is the daughter of William Henry Fitzmaurice and Emma Theodora Jameson.² She married Henry Paul Dobbin, son of Leonard Dobbin, on 17 January 1923.¹
     From 17 January 1923, her married name became Dobbin.

     Leonard Dobbin lived at Knockrea, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹

     Henry Paul Dobbin is the son of Leonard Dobbin.² He married Dymphna Fitzmaurice, daughter of William Henry Fitzmaurice and Emma Theodora Jameson, on 17 January 1923.¹
     He lived in 1976 at 4412 West 9th Avenue, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada^G.¹

     Leonard Peter Dobbin was born on 30 April 1924.² He is the son of Henry Paul Dobbin and Dymphna Fitzmaurice.² He married Evelyn Frances Park, daughter of Alexander Levi Park, on 24 August 1957.¹
     He was educated at Prince of Wales School, Nairobi, Kenya^G.¹ He was registered as a Chartered Accountant (C.A.) in 1953.¹ He was with the Department of National Revenue Canada.¹ He lived in 1976 at 4808 Trafalgar Street, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada^G.¹

     Evelyn Frances Park is the daughter of Alexander Levi Park.² She married Leonard Peter Dobbin, son of Henry Paul Dobbin and Dymphna Fitzmaurice, on 24 August 1957.¹
