     He was educated at Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, Devon, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹

     He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1945, in Royal Navy.¹ He gained the rank of Sergeant Pilot in the Royal Air Force.¹

     Alexander Spence Muter lived at Middlesbrough, Yorkshire, England^G.¹

     Doreen Muter is the daughter of Alexander Spence Muter.² She married Gerald Dudley FitzGerald, son of Dudley Francis North FitzGerald and Hermine Kiely, on 15 December 1956.¹
