     Mary Anne Margaret Filgate was born in 1790.¹ She was the daughter of William Filgate and Anne Filgate.² She married Thomas William Filgate, son of William Filgate and Alice (?), in 1817.² She died in 1845.²

     Doris Georgina Ruth Wells is the daughter of Albert Edward Francis Wells.¹ She married William Alexander Jerome Filgate, son of Charles Roden Filgate and Clare Cooper, on 12 September 1936.¹
     From 12 September 1936, her married name became Filgate.¹

     Sophia Juliana Penelope de Salis was born on 15 December 1807.² She was the daughter of Jerome Fane de Salis, 4th Comte de Salis and Penelope Freeman.^3,2 She married William Filgate, son of William Filgate and Anne Filgate, on 27 October 1831.¹ She died on 5 July 1866 at age 58.¹
     From 27 October 1831, her married name became Filgate.

     William de Salis Filgate was born on 2 December 1834.¹ He was the son of William Filgate and Sophia Juliana Penelope de Salis.² He married Georgiana Harriet French, daughter of William John French, on 4 October 1870.¹ He died on 14 June 1916 at age 81.¹
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Louth Rifles (6th Battalion, Royal Irish Rifles.)¹ Between 1860 and 1916 MFH.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Louth.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Louth.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of County Louth in 1879.¹ He lived at Lissrenny, County Louth, Ireland^G.¹

     Colonel Alexander Jerome Filgate was born on 29 August 1837.¹ He was the son of William Filgate and Sophia Juliana Penelope de Salis.² He died on 9 February 1909 at age 71.¹
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Engineers.¹

     Rodolph Townley Richard Filgate was born on 18 December 1839.¹ He was the son of William Filgate and Sophia Juliana Penelope de Salis.² He died on 15 December 1904 at age 64.¹
     He was with HM’s Court of Probate [Ireland].¹

     Leopold George Plantagenet Filgate was born on 20 August 1843.¹ He was the son of William Filgate and Sophia Juliana Penelope de Salis.² He died on 1 May 1906 at age 62.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Antrim.¹

     Townley Fane Filgate was born on 26 January 1846.¹ He was the son of William Filgate and Sophia Juliana Penelope de Salis.² He died on 7 September 1913 at age 67.¹
     He was Secretary of the County Louth County Council.¹

     Charles Roden Filgate was born on 16 October 1849.¹ He was the son of William Filgate and Sophia Juliana Penelope de Salis.² He married Clare Cooper, daughter of William Cooper, on 27 February 1906.¹ He died on 1 September 1930 at age 80.¹
     He was a practising Barrister-at-Law.¹ He lived at The Terrace, Matlock Bank, Derbyshire, England^G.¹

     Clare Cooper was the daughter of William Cooper.¹ She married, firstly, Charles Roden Filgate, son of William Filgate and Sophia Juliana Penelope de Salis, on 27 February 1906.¹ She married, secondly, Conrad Grune on 15 September 1933.¹ She died on 18 September 1938.¹
     From 27 February 1906, her married name became Filgate. From 15 September 1933, her married name became Grune.¹
