     Lionel Richard Eyre was born on 14 October 1908.¹ He was the son of Richard Eyre and Katherine Gallagher.² He died on 21 February 1909.¹

     Robert Eyre was born on 11 July 1863.¹ He was the son of Richard Eyre and Monimia Mary Butler.² He married Isabel Comer Jones, daughter of William Jones.¹ He died on 6 December 1936 at age 73, without issue.¹
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was commissioned in 1880, in the service of the Cape Mounted Rifles.¹ He served in campaigns in Basutoland and Bechuanaland.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902.¹ He lived at Kokstad, East Griqualand, Cape Province, South Africa^G.¹

     Annesley Eyre was the son of John Eyre and Sarah Mahon.² He died, unmarried.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 90th Light Infantry.¹

     Thomas Eyre was the son of John Eyre and Sarah Mahon.² He died, unmarried.¹

     Robert Eyre was the son of John Eyre and Sarah Mahon.² He died, unmarried.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the West India Regiment.¹
