     He was educated at Hilton College, Natal, South Africa^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Natal Carabmiers.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He lived in 1976 at The Haven, Himeville, Natal, South Africa^G.¹

     Kathleen Violet Orpwood was born on 5 May 1912 at Bengal, India.² She was the daughter of Reverend H. C. Orpwood.³ She married Charles Frere Eustace, son of Charles Frere Eustace and Lydia Lucy Acutt, on 12 September 1936.^1,2 She died on 25 October 1957 at age 45 at Pietermaritzburg, Natal, South Africa.²
     From 12 September 1936, her married name became Eustace.

     Harvey Tower Eustace was born in November 1876.¹ He was the son of Colonel John Thomas Eustace and Edith Kate Twentyman.² He died, young.¹

     Myra Mabel Eustace was born on 2 September 1866 at Swainsbrick, Bath, Somerset, England.^1,2 She was the daughter of Colonel John Thomas Eustace and Edith Kate Twentyman.³ She died on 30 December 1934 at age 68 at Cape Province, South Africa, unmarried.^1,2

     Edith Mary Rosalie Eustace was born on 25 June 1869 at Cape Province, South Africa.¹ She was the daughter of Colonel John Thomas Eustace and Edith Kate Twentyman.² She married Walter Thomas Powrie on 22 April 1896.¹ She died on 20 December 1944 at age 75 at Mossel Bay, Cape Province, South Africa.³
     From 22 April 1896, her married name became Powrie.¹

     Emily Laura Alicia Eustace was born on 19 October 1870.¹ She was the daughter of Colonel John Thomas Eustace and Edith Kate Twentyman.² She married Henry de Graeff, Baron van Polsbroek on 8 March 1893.¹ She died on 1 December 1941 at age 71 at Johannesburg, Transvaal, South Africa^G.¹
     From 9 March 1893, her married name became de Graeff.

     Henry de Graeff, Baron van Polsbroek married Emily Laura Alicia Eustace, daughter of Colonel John Thomas Eustace and Edith Kate Twentyman, on 8 March 1893.¹ He died on 15 May 1941.¹
     He gained the title of Baron van Polsbroek.

     Emma Frances Stuart Eustace was born on 14 January 1872.¹ She was the daughter of Colonel John Thomas Eustace and Edith Kate Twentyman.² She married Captain Alick Manson Clarke in December 1906.¹ She died on 9 November 1930 at age 58, without issue.¹
     From December 1906, her married name became Clarke.

     Captain Alick Manson Clarke married Emma Frances Stuart Eustace, daughter of Colonel John Thomas Eustace and Edith Kate Twentyman, in December 1906.¹
