He matriculated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, on 28 November 1667 Trin College Dublin (entd.1 ) He was a practising Barrister-at-Law in 1677.1 He held the office of Lord Chief Baron on 1 June 1695.1 He held the office of Lord Chief Justice of the Court of Common Pleas [Ireland] on 1 February 1703.1
