     She was in the Women’s Auxiliary Air Force during the Second World War.¹ She was riding instructress.¹

     lsabella Maureen Dorman was born on 21 October 1914.¹ She is the daughter of William Stewart Hobart Dorman and Eleanore Elizabeth Robinson.² She married Cyril James Usher Murphy, son of Reverend James Edward Harnett Murphy, on 15 August 1939.¹
     She graduated from Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹ From 15 August 1939, her married name became Murphy. She was registered as a Member, Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (M.R.C.P.I.)¹ She lived in 1976 at St. Columba’s Hospital, Hazaribagh, Bihar, India^G.¹

     Cyril James Usher Murphy was the son of Reverend James Edward Harnett Murphy.² He married lsabella Maureen Dorman, daughter of William Stewart Hobart Dorman and Eleanore Elizabeth Robinson, on 15 August 1939.¹ He died on 6 January 1957.²
     He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (F.R.C.P.I.)¹ He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹

     Marion Isabell Lewis was the daughter of Stephen Lewis.² She married John William Dorman, son of Reverend Thomas Dorman and Charlotte Isabella Hobart, on 8 April 1880.¹ She died on 9 April 1945.²
     From 8 April 1880, her married name became Dorman.

     Lt.-Cdr. Thomas Stephen Lewis Dorman was born on 9 September 1883.¹ He was the son of John William Dorman and Marion Isabell Lewis.² He married Gwynneth Tennant, daughter of David Tennant, on 30 December 1916.¹ He died on 5 May 1917 at age 33, killed in action in command of H.M.S. Lavender.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹
