     Reverend William Dobbin was born on 23 August 1816 at Cappagh, County Down, IrelandG.1 He was the son of Alexander Dobbin and Susanna Wilson.2 He married Mary Robinson, daughter of John Robinson, in 1841.1 He died on 17 March 1901 at age 84 at Tullyconnaught, Ireland.1
     He was a Presbyterian Minister between 1839 and 1891 at Annaghlone, IrelandG.1 He was Clerk of Synod of the Presbytery and Synod of Belfast between 1858 and 1895.1
