     Valerie Brigid Dorothy de Stacpoole was born on 24 May 1950.¹ She is the daughter of Major George Geoffrey Robert Edward de Stacpoole, 6th Duc de Stackpoole and Dorothy Anne Dease.² She married, firstly, Jeremy Whichcote Phillips Richardson, son of Edward Arthur Richardson, on 24 March 1973.¹ She married, secondly, Robert David Inglis Bigland in 1997 at Kensington, London, England.³
