     Robert Thomas Deacon was born on 2 March 1885.¹ He was the son of David Deacon and Elizabeth Jane Kennedy.² He married Eleanor Hawthorne, daughter of William Hawthorne, on 10 April 1912.¹
     He lived at New York City, New York, U.S.A.^G.¹

     William Hawthorne lived at Drumnavaddy, County Down, Ireland^G.¹

     Eleanor Hawthorne was the daughter of William Hawthorne.² She married Robert Thomas Deacon, son of David Deacon and Elizabeth Jane Kennedy, on 10 April 1912.¹ She died on 15 December 1945.¹
     From 10 April 1912, her married name became Deacon.

     David Hawthorne Deacon was born on 30 March 1913.¹ He was the son of Robert Thomas Deacon and Eleanor Hawthorne.² He married Beatrice Neumann, daughter of Gustav Neumann, on 1 March 1942.¹ He died on 22 May 1982 at age 69 at Greenwich, Connecticut, U.S.A.³
     He was educated at New York University, Manhattan, New York City, New York, U.S.A.^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the U.S. Air Force.¹ He was Sales Manager, Eastern Region for Universal Atlas Cement Company.¹ He lived in 1976 at 24 Druid Lane, Riverside, Connecticut, U.S.A.^G.¹

     Beatrice Neumann is the daughter of Gustav Neumann.¹ She married David Hawthorne Deacon, son of Robert Thomas Deacon and Eleanor Hawthorne, on 1 March 1942.¹
     She was a practising Councillor-at-Law.¹ From 1 March 1942, her married name became Deacon.¹

     David Hawthorne Deacon, Jr. was born on 26 March 1950.¹ He is the son of David Hawthorne Deacon and Beatrice Neumann.²
     He graduated from Duke University, Durham, North Carolina, U.S.A.^G, in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)¹ He was a law clerk with Magill & Badger at Greenwich, Connecticut, U.S.A.^G.¹ He lived in 1976 at 24 Druid Lane, Riverside, Connecticut, U.S.A.^G.¹

     Allison Jean Deacon was born on 14 May 1947.¹ She is the daughter of David Hawthorne Deacon and Beatrice Neumann.² She married Craig Gardner, son of Joseph James Gardner, on 9 September 1967.¹
     From 9 September 1967, her married name became Gardner.¹

     Heather Jean Gardner was born on 4 December 1969.¹ She is the daughter of Craig Gardner and Allison Jean Deacon.^2,1
