     Samuel Algernon D’Arcy was born on 7 February 1863.¹ He was the son of Francis Joshua D’Arcy and Annie Kidd.² He married Elizabeth Adelaide Whitsitt, daughter of Benjamin Whitsitt, on 5 December 1893.² He died in 1945.¹
     He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹ He was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (L.R.C.P.I.)¹ He lived at Lismoyle, Cushendall, County Antrim, Ireland^G.¹

     Surg. Rear-Admiral Thomas Norman D’Arcy was born on 12 February 1896.¹ He was the son of Samuel Algernon D’Arcy and Elizabeth Adelaide Whitsitt.² He married Eleanor Lennox Broadbent, daughter of Harry Broadbent, on 11 July 1922.¹ He died on 17 January 1987 at age 90 at Surrey, England.³
     He was educated in 1919 at Royal School, Cavan, County Cavan, Ireland^G.¹ He was educated between 1951 and 1954 at Royal College of Surgeons, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He was commissioned in 1915, in the service of the Royal Navy.¹ He was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland (L.R.C.S.I.) in 1919.² He was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (L.R.C.P.I.)² He was awarded the Gilbert Blane Medal in 1929.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1950.¹ He was Honorary Surgeon to HM King George VI between 1951 and 1952.¹ He was Honorary Surgeon to HM Queen Elizabeth II between 1952 and 1954.² He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1953.¹ He was appointed Commander, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (C.St.J.) in 1953.¹ He lived in 1976 at South Wind, Witley, Surrey, England^G.¹

     Harry Broadbent lived at Port Said, Egypt^G.¹

     Eleanor Lennox Broadbent is the daughter of Harry Broadbent.² She married Surg. Rear-Admiral Thomas Norman D’Arcy, son of Samuel Algernon D’Arcy and Elizabeth Adelaide Whitsitt, on 11 July 1922.¹
     From 11 July 1922, her married name became D’Arcy.

     Michael Austin D’Arcy was born in 1925.¹ He is the son of Surg. Rear-Admiral Thomas Norman D’Arcy and Eleanor Lennox Broadbent.² He married Clover Constance Pullen, daughter of Walter Pullen, in 1950.¹
     He gained the rank of Air Commodore in the Royal Air Force.¹ He was Deputy Leader of the Queen’s Flight.¹ He was appointed Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.) in 1974.¹

     Walter Pullen lived at Pinner, London, England^G.¹

     Clover Constance Pullen is the daughter of Walter Pullen.² She married Michael Austin D’Arcy, son of Surg. Rear-Admiral Thomas Norman D’Arcy and Eleanor Lennox Broadbent, in 1950.¹
     From 1950, her married name became D’Arcy.

     Simon Michael D’Arcy was born in 1951.¹ He is the son of Michael Austin D’Arcy and Clover Constance Pullen.²
