     Henry Dane was born on 9 September 1893.¹ He was the son of Sir Louis William Dane and Edith Norman.² He married Victoria Alexandrina Katherine Wingate, daughter of General Sir Francis Reginald Wingate, 1st Bt., on 7 March 1922.¹ He died on 5 December 1942 at age 49 at Tokyo, Japan^G, as a prisoner.¹
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹ He was registered as a Member, Institute of Electrical Engineering (M.I.E.E.)¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Indian Army.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he became a POW.¹ He was awarded the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) posthumously.¹

     General Sir Francis Reginald Wingate, 1st Bt. was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Royal Victorian Order (G.C.V.O.)¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.)¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.)¹ General Sir Francis Reginald Wingate, 1st Bt. usually went by his middle name of Reginald.¹ He gained the title of 1st Baronet Wingate. He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)¹

     Victoria Alexandrina Katherine Wingate is the daughter of General Sir Francis Reginald Wingate, 1st Bt.² She married Henry Dane, son of Sir Louis William Dane and Edith Norman, on 7 March 1922.¹
     From 7 March 1922, her married name became Dane. She lived in 1976 at Stone Cottage, Crockham Hill, Edenbridge, Kent, England^G.¹

     Paul Malcolm Henry Wingate Dane was born on 20 December 1924.¹ He is the son of Henry Dane and Victoria Alexandrina Katherine Wingate.² He married Anna Kilga, daughter of Leo Kilga, on 26 October 1967.¹
     He was educated at Nautical College, Pangbourne, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was Captain with British Airways.¹ He lived in 1976 at 7 Hag Lane Close, Lymington, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Anna Kilga is the daughter of Leo Kilga.² She married Paul Malcolm Henry Wingate Dane, son of Henry Dane and Victoria Alexandrina Katherine Wingate, on 26 October 1967.¹
     From 26 October 1967, her married name became Dane.

     Lt.-Cdr. Martin Louis Geoffrey Dane was born on 22 November 1936.¹ He is the son of Henry Dane and Victoria Alexandrina Katherine Wingate.² He married Janet Mary Paterson Smith, daughter of R. P. Smith, on 8 February 1961.¹
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He retired from the military in 1969, with the rank of Lieutenant-Commander, late of the Royal Navy.¹ He lived in 1976 at Acorn House, St. Helen’s, Isle of Wight, England^G.¹

     Richard Martin Henry Dane was born on 4 June 1962.¹ He is the son of Lt.-Cdr. Martin Louis Geoffrey Dane and Janet Mary Paterson Smith.^2,1
