     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the Indian Medical Service.¹ He was Public Medical Officer, Central Provinces.¹

     Reverend Charles Yate graduated with a Bachelor of Divinity (B.D.)¹ He was the Dean at St. John’s College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹

     Isabella Campbell Yate was the daughter of Reverend Charles Yate.² She married Arthur Henry Cole Dane, son of Richard Martin Dane and Sophia Eliza Griffiths.¹ She died in 1903.¹
     Her married name became Dane.

     Lt.-Cdr. Arthur Maurice Yate Dane was born on 17 November 1885.¹ He was the son of Arthur Henry Cole Dane and Isabella Campbell Yate.² He married Gladys Charlotte Beatrice McConnell, daughter of Reverend C. J. McConnell, on 29 January 1918.¹ He died on 27 August 1953 at age 67 at Zimbabwe^G.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.¹ He lived at Beaworthy, Devon, England^G.¹

     Gladys Charlotte Beatrice McConnell is the daughter of Reverend C. J. McConnell.² She married Lt.-Cdr. Arthur Maurice Yate Dane, son of Arthur Henry Cole Dane and Isabella Campbell Yate, on 29 January 1918.¹
     From 29 January 1918, her married name became Dane.

     Arthur Geoffrey Terence Dane was born on 2 July 1921.¹ He is the son of Lt.-Cdr. Arthur Maurice Yate Dane and Gladys Charlotte Beatrice McConnell.² He married Frace Williams on 4 January 1944.¹
     Arthur Geoffrey Terence Dane usually went by his middle name of Terence.¹ He was educated at Kelly College, Tavistock, Devon, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Navy and Royal Indian Marines.¹ He lived in 1976 at Harare, Zimbabwe^G.¹

     Patricia Dagmar Dane was born on 14 February 1919.¹ She is the daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Arthur Maurice Yate Dane and Gladys Charlotte Beatrice McConnell.² She married Lt.-Cdr. Anthony Laurence Nicholson, son of Reginald Nicholson, on 31 January 1948.¹
     From 31 January 1948, her married name became Nicholson.
