     James Armstrong was a practising Solicitor.¹

     Margaret Armstrong was the daughter of James Armstrong.² She married Reverend Austin Cooper, son of Austin Cooper and Sarah Mauvillieu Turner, on 10 September 1829.¹ She died on 3 December 1861.¹
     From 10 September 1829, her married name became Cooper.

     William Hawley married Eileen Edith Adelaide Cooper, daughter of John Anthony Ashley Cooper and Lettie Caroline van Breda de Jongh.¹

     Austin Nathaniel Cooper was born on 9 December 1853.¹ He was the son of Austin Damer Cooper and Caroline Anne Maria Bloxham.^2,1 He married Mary Thom on 6 October 1893.¹ He died on 11 July 1898 at age 44 at Cleveland Street, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.^1,3
     He graduated from Royal College of Surgeons, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹ He was Surgeon to the Great Southern Railway.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland (F.R.C.S.I.)³

     Mary C. Cooper was born in 1895 at Tamworth, New South Wales, Australia.² He was the son of Austin Nathaniel Cooper and Mary Thom.^3,1 He died on 20 November 1895, in infancy.¹

     Mark Bloxham Cooper was born on 18 September 1855.¹ He was the son of Austin Damer Cooper and Caroline Anne Maria Bloxham.^2,1 He married Susan Westropp Lloyd, daughter of Major Matthew Pennefather Lloyd, on 3 April 1888.¹ He died on 4 November 1929 at age 74.¹
     He was admitted to King’s Inns in 1885 entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-Law.¹ He was member of the Leinster Circuit between 1890 and 1919.¹ He was Junior Counsel for the Crown in 1897 at Nenagh, County Tipperary, Ireland^G.¹ He was Crown Counsel for the Winter Assizes in 1900.¹ He was Junior Counsel for the Crown in 1903 at Clonmel, County Tipperary, Ireland^G.¹ He was appointed King’s Counsel (K.C.)¹ He was Senior Counsel for the Crown in 1916 at Wexford, County Wexford, Ireland^G.¹ He was Counsel to the Attorney-General in 1918.¹ He held the office of Justice of the District Court in 1924.¹ He lived at Fitzwilliam Street, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹

     Major Matthew Pennefather Lloyd gained the rank of Major in the 59th Regiment.¹

     Susan Westropp Lloyd was the daughter of Major Matthew Pennefather Lloyd.² She married Mark Bloxham Cooper, son of Austin Damer Cooper and Caroline Anne Maria Bloxham, on 3 April 1888.¹ She died in 1929.¹
     From 3 April 1888, her married name became Cooper.

     Major Matthew Pennefather Lloyd Cooper was born on 19 March 1892.¹ He was the son of Mark Bloxham Cooper and Susan Westropp Lloyd.² He married Katherine Mary Burgess, daughter of John Burgess, on 22 January 1916.¹ He died on 2 June 1969 at age 77.¹
     He was educated at Wesley College, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹ He fought in the First World War, in Flanders with Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers.¹ He was Garrison Adjutant between 1932 and 1937 at Colchester, Essex, England^G.¹ He was the Bursar between 1937 and 1958 at Dauntsey’s School, West Lavington, Wiltshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War, as Major (Staff.)¹ He lived at Drumnigh House, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹ He lived at Breckland House, Garboldisham, Norfolk, England^G.¹
