     James Hamilton was born on 25 January 1688 at Murvagh, Ireland.^2,3 He was the son of John Hamilton and Jane Creighton.³ He married Dorothy Green, daughter of Henry Green, in 1721.³ He died on 13 January 1755 at age 66.^2,3
     He lived at Brown Hall, County Donegal, Ireland^G.¹

     Jean Hamilton is the daughter of James Hamilton.² She married, firstly, John Hamilton before 1775.¹ She married, secondly, Colonel William Conyngham, son of George Conyngham and Anne Peacock, on 31 August 1775.¹
     From 31 August 1775, her married name became Conyngham.

     David Conyngham was born in 1727.² He was the son of George Conyngham and Anne Peacock.³ He married Anne Saunders.² He died in 1788, without issue.¹

     John Hamilton married Jean Hamilton, daughter of James Hamilton, before 1775.¹ He died before 1775.¹

     Jane Hamilton was the daughter of John Hamilton and Jean Hamilton.^2,1 She married George Lenox-Conyngham, son of Clotworthy Lenox and Anne Conyngham, on 11 April 1779.¹ She died on 20 February 1793.¹
     From 11 April 1779, her married name became Lenox-Conyngham.

     Ann (?) married, secondly, William Hornby on 13 June 1788 at St. Marylebone Church, Marylebone Road, Marylebone, London, England^G.¹ She died on 12 July 1816 at Portman Square, London, England^G.¹ Her will was proven (by probate) on 24 July 1817.¹
     Her married name became Minshull.¹ From 13 June 1788, her married name became Hornby.¹ Her last will was dated 12 July 1816.¹
