     Hon. Elizabeth Maule was born in 1797.1 She was the daughter of William Maule-Ramsay, 1st Lord Panmure and Patricia Heron Gordon.1 She married Sir Alexander Ramsay of Balmain, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Alexander Ramsay of Balmain, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Bannerman, on 22 December 1822.2 She died on 11 September 1852 at Waterfoot, Cumberland, EnglandG.1 She was also reported to have died on 12 September 1852.3
     From 22 December 1822, her married name became Ramsay.1
